Parenting Skills Workshops at the Family Summit

Our Parenting Skills Workshops take place during our annual Family Summit in Fish Lake National Forest (12,200 ft.), Utah. It is a three-day event focused on specific training for parents and teens.  It is held in one of the largest Pando Clone (Aspen Tree) forests in the United States.

The workshops on parenting and family skills, and some great activities, are all held in a beautiful, relaxing location nestled around the 300 ft. deep natural Fish Lake known for its 30 lbs+  Makinaw (Lake Trout).  Fish Lake is within easy driving distance of Zions, Bryce, Arches, and Cedar Breaks National Parks as well as a day’s trip from the north rim of the Grand Canyon.  The area is known for the Piute ATV trail that meanders through high mountain meadows filled with elk, deer, and one of the largest buffalo herds in the United States.

The summit training courses include 4 two-hour workshops, a lake tour, famous Dutch oven meals, walk abouts and discussions through Aspen Groves and an evening camp fire with folk and western entertainment.  It's all topped off with camp cooking under a covered pavilion.

The cost is $745.00 per adult and $50.00 extra for each child. Special lodging discounts are also available.  S4F can also recommend excursions tailored to family time and budgets.  Fish Lake is 3 ½ hours from Salt Lake City, Utah and 4 hours from Las Vegas, Nevada.
